Indonesia, a nation with more than 17,000 islands, has a diverse and large population of about 224 million people, making her the fourth most populous nation in the world.
Indonesia has the world’s largest Muslim population and is a member of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC). An estimated 87% of its population are Muslim, while only 6% are Protestant Christians.
We see a tremendous need to serve in this nation and will want to see the churches grow strongly. Despite many challenges, such as persecution from radical religious groups, many opportunities are also created for us to minister and impact these communities.
