ACCEPTED AND LOVED
- October 16, 2019
Try Vanthen was 20 when he applied for the industrial skill course, run by Project Khmer H.O.P.E (PKH). He was worried that he would not be
accepted because of his right eye that was crossed. While on the waiting list, he was fearful that he would not be accepted, and he went on to find other jobs.
He was finally accepted into the program, where he spent nine months learning English and picked up skills that would equip him to work
in the area of hotel maintenance. In those nine months, he attended the weekend activities conducted by the Living Streams club, where he heard the gospel and accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior and was baptised in 2014.
Upon graduation, he continued to be part of the Christian community, that gave him the love and support as he overcame homesickness and
numerous rejections from his job interviews.
